About the role

Candidate will be supporting in managing student conduct, behavioural concerns, and well-being.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with fact-finding and investigations relating to student misconduct, bullying, and behavioural incidents.

  • Maintain proper and confidential records of student cases and follow-up actions.

  • Engage students involved in disciplinary cases, including affected students and those responsible for the incidents.

  • Build positive relationships with students, particularly those who may require additional behavioural or emotional support.

  • Identify possible warning signs and escalate concerns to the relevant personnel.

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of student safety or intervention plans.

  • Facilitate restorative conversations between affected parties where appropriate.

  • Support corrective counselling and help students understand the consequences of their actions.

  • Work closely with counsellors, student support personnel and the student management team.

  • Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student cases and follow-up measures.

About you

  • Previous experience in teaching, student discipline, student management, pastoral care, counselling, youth work or a related position within an educational environment.

  • Able to communicate confidently and sensitively with students, parents and institutional personnel.

  • Strong interpersonal, listening and conflict-management skills.

  • Able to manage sensitive student cases professionally and with discretion.

  • Able to conduct fact-finding objectively and prepare clear and accurate case documentation.

  • Familiarity with restorative practices, case management or student support processes would be advantageous.

  • Patient, emotionally mature and able to remain calm when managing challenging behaviour.

  • Able to exercise sound judgement and maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external support organisations.
