Lighting Designer (Junior/Entry Level)

Our client is an award winning lighting design boutique studio. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Designer in lighting design projects from concept development through to completion, working closely with architects, interior designers, consultants, clients and contractors to deliver innovative, functional and aesthetically compelling lighting solutions.

Salary: up to $4,500
Work Days: 5 Days (9am to 6pm)
Work Location: Central (near MRT Station)

Responsibilities:
• Support the development of lighting concepts and design solutions based on project requirements.
• Prepare lighting layouts, fixture schedules and design documentation.
• Assist with lighting fixture selection, specifications and technical coordination.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and project teams on design requirements.
• Support tender, construction and project documentation.
• Attend meetings, site visits and design reviews as required.
• Assist with on-site lighting testing, focusing and commissioning.

Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Lighting Design, Architecture or Interior Design
• 1 to 2 years of relevant lighting design experience
• Genuine interest in lighting design with a willingness to learn
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Photoshop
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, DIALux, or similar software is an advantage
• Creative with good design sense, communication, and coordination skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a project-driven environment
• Singaporean only need apply
