Senior Executive, Human Resources (HR Generalist)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive, Human Resources to join a regional HR team supporting a global maritime organization. This is a well-rounded HR Generalist role covering end-to-end employee lifecycle management, HR operations, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, compliance, and HR projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with regional stakeholders to deliver HR initiatives, ensure compliance with Singapore employment regulations, and support a positive employee experience across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & Talent Management
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, transfers, promotions, performance management, and offboarding.
Coordinate background checks, employment documentation, induction programmes, and new hire administration.
Support employee engagement initiatives and gather employee feedback to improve workplace experience.
HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within the HRIS.
Administer employment contracts, work passes, visa applications, and expatriate coordination where required.
Ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation and internal HR policies.
Prepare HR documentation and support internal and external audit requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
Support payroll administration, insurance renewals, tax declarations, and employee benefits administration.
Coordinate statutory reporting, government surveys, claims, and submissions to relevant authorities.
Assist with compensation reviews and HR reporting as required.
HR Projects & Regional Support
Participate in regional HR initiatives, process improvements, and employee experience projects.
Support HR administration and data reporting across multiple regional offices.
Collaborate with regional HR teams and internal stakeholders on HR programmes and operational initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience covering multiple HR functions.
Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, MOM work pass administration, and local HR compliance requirements.
Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Experience within the maritime, shipping, logistics, or multinational corporate environment is an advantage.
