Architectural Coordinator

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate all architectural works in accordance with requirements and project specifications.
2. Review architectural drawings and ensure compliance with local codes (e.g., BCA, URA) and MOE guidelines.
3. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure timely submission and approval of architectural drawings.
4. Monitor and ensure the quality of architectural works meets statutory and contractual standards.
5. Ensure proper coordination between architectural, structural, and M&E services to avoid design clashes.
6. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any site-related architectural issues.
7. Support in preparing reports, progress updates, and documentation required by MOE and other agencies.
8. Attend site meetings, technical coordination meetings, and inspections with consultants and stakeholders.
9. Ensure architectural finishes and materials are in line with approved samples and educational facility standards.

Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Building, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination, preferably on institutional or government projects.
3. Familiar with local codes and authority submission processes, especially BCA, URA, and MOE standards.
4. Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit and BIM knowledge is an advantage.
5. Experience working with government agencies or on public sector projects (e.g., MOE, HDB, LTA) is highly preferred.
6. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
7. Able to work independently on-site and manage multiple deadlines.
