1. Role Summary

The Employee shall serve as a Solutions Architect and shall be responsible for leading the technical deployment, configuration, and ongoing success of the Company's software products and solutions for enterprise clients. The role is client-facing and requires close and continuous collaboration with the Company's Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Customer Success teams. The Employee shall own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for a portfolio of assigned accounts and shall be accountable for implementation quality, delivery velocity, client satisfaction, and the revenue enabled and expanded through successful deployment.

2. Key Responsibilities

Deployment & Account Delivery

1. Serving as the primary technical owner for assigned accounts, managing implementation timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent client engagements.
   
   

Configuration & Customisation

2. Customising and configuring the Company's products to meet client-specific requirements, including bespoke settings, business logic, and account-level configurations.

3. Designing, authoring, and quality-assuring client-specific content and configurations, grounded in the client's own documentation and compliance requirements, and where relevant across multiple languages and regulatory contexts.

Integration & Technical Solutioning

4. Supporting the integration of the Company's solutions with client systems, including but not limited to Learning Management Systems, CRM and other enterprise platforms, single sign-on and identity federation, data-export APIs, and enterprise deployment, hosting, and security configurations.

5. Translating business and commercial requirements into clear technical specifications, scalable configurations, and repeatable solution patterns that can be reused across similar accounts.

Testing & Quality Assurance

6. Designing and managing the UAT process, including intake templates for client requirements, structured collection and consolidation of client feedback, prioritisation of fixes, and direct implementation of feedback wherever possible.

7. Establishing and overseeing quality assurance across the product pipeline, including where required the recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day management of a testing team.

Support & Troubleshooting

8. Troubleshooting technical issues across the product stack and client environment, ensuring smooth implementation, rollout, and steady-state operation; triaging incoming client requests and issues and resolving the majority without escalation.

9. Providing technical support during pre-sales and post-sales discussions where required, including demonstrations, scoping sessions, and proofs of concept.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

10. Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to scope, prioritise, and deliver enhancements driven by client needs, escalating only those items requiring engineering resources or novel solutions, thereby maximising engineering leverage and delivery velocity.

11. Supporting client governance, compliance, and verification obligations, including standardised reporting and assisting with the review of contractual monitoring and reporting requirements.

12. Write evals and pull the custom use cases back to the platform

Process, Documentation & Impact

13. Contributing to the continuous improvement of implementation processes and self-serve tooling to reduce build time and custom-request volume, and to increase the proportion of work handled without engineering involvement by improving the codebase

14. Maintaining accurate and current documentation relating to deployments, integrations, and client configurations.

15. Owning and reporting on implementation performance metrics, including revenue enabled, implementation velocity, expansion, and engineering effort saved for assigned accounts.

3. Reporting & Collaboration

The Employee shall work in close coordination with the Company's Engineering, Product, Commercial, and Customer Success functions, and shall participate in recurring planning, prioritisation, and resource-management activities.

Preferred Experience

• 4–7 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, enterprise software implementation, technical consulting, professional services or a similar customer-facing technical role.

• Proven experience deploying and configuring enterprise SaaS or AI products for large, complex customers.

• Strong technical understanding of APIs, system integrations, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, single sign-on, identity management and enterprise security requirements.

• Experience translating business and commercial requirements into clear technical specifications and scalable solution designs.

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues and implementing changes directly, including the ability to work within a codebase where required.

• Familiarity with AI and LLM-based systems, including prompt configuration, evaluation frameworks, model testing and quality assurance.

• Experience designing and managing UAT processes across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

• Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to distinguish between configuration, product enhancements and genuinely new technical development.

• Experience developing reusable tools, configurations and solution patterns that reduce repeated custom work and Engineering dependency.

• Experience delivering solutions within financial services, insurance, banking or another highly regulated industry.

• Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise deployments in a fast-moving environment.

• Familiarity with multi-market, multi-language, private-cloud or data-residency deployments would be an advantage.

This role also protects Hupo’s ability to scale. By resolving most customer requirements through configuration, reusable solution patterns and direct technical implementation, the Solutions Architect reduces unnecessary reliance on Engineering and helps customers realise value faster. Where new development is required, the role ensures requirements are clearly defined and that customer-specific use cases are ultimately incorporated into the platform for future deployments.

Successful Solutions Architects directly improve implementation velocity, product quality and customer satisfaction. Their work enables revenue to go live, creates the foundation for customer adoption and expansion, and makes every subsequent Hupo deployment faster and more repeatable.
