JOBSUMMARY
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost planning and control throughout the project lifecycle—from tender submission to final account. Your core responsibilities will include budgeting, cost analysis, contract administration, and progress claim management, ensuring each project is executed efficiently, profitably, and inline with contractual obligations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ)including quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and assist in preparation of tender documentation.
· Understand and manage tender activities to ensure timely completion within deadlines.
· Source and evaluate new suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and maintain quality standards.
· Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate terms, and assist in preparing subcontractor agreements.
· Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual and cost-related matters, including variation orders.
· Conduct cost analysis, control and manage project costs, and assess variation orders to ensure adherence to budget.
· Monitor material and labour costs, and prepare regular cost and financial reports.
· Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts to client in collaboration with project teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
· Review subcontractor progress claims and prepare payment responses based on site progress and work completed, including variations.
· Attend site walk with clients for progress claims and follow up on approvals and certifications.

REQUIREMENTS
· Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field
· At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry
· Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, contract law, and cost management
· Knowledge of AUTOCAD, and Revit will be an advantage
· Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
· Good analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
· Meticulous, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
