Visual Inspection & Packaging Technician

Job Summary:
Candidates will be responsible for performing manual and automated visual inspection of pharmaceutical products, operating and supporting packaging lines, and ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform manual visual inspection of vials, syringes, or other primary packaging for defects such as particles, cracks, discoloration, and fill volume issues.
Operate automated visual inspection machines and monitor performance to ensure product quality.
Document inspection results and report any deviations or quality issues in accordance with SOPs.
Operate and monitor automatic packaging line.
Assist in packaging line setup, CQV activities and changeovers to ensure efficient production runs.
Support in documentation such as drafting, revising SOPs.
Support in manual labelling and packaging of products if required.
Perform daily cleaning and clearance of work areas and equipment to maintain GMP compliance.
Handle material dispensing, stockkeeping, and reconciliation for visual inspection and packaging processes.
Support troubleshooting of equipment failures and collaborate with maintenance/engineering teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
Complete batch records, logbooks, and inspection reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions as needed.
Train new team members on visual inspection techniques, equipment operation, and GMP requirements.
Any other duties as and when assigned by the Manager or supervisor.
Requirements:
Diploma or higher in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Pharmacy, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or related fields.
At least 5 years of relevant experiences in visual inspection and packaging.
Experience with automated visual inspection systems and familiarity with manual labelling and packaging and automatic packaging equipment, especially MG (Marchesini Group) or similar lines, will be considered a strong advantage.
Good analyzing and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and expression skills.
Effective team collaboration, efficient execution, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Flexibility to work in the day, afternoon, or night shifts, and on weekends as part of shift rotations, depending on production scheduling needs.
Contract Duration: 12 months
