The OCT CPEE SEAL Engineer/Senior Engineer will lead Manufacturing Excellence initiatives through standardization, SEAL deployment, Wafer Per Day (WPD) improvements, and Intelligent Solutions across global manufacturing sites. This role will drive sustainable productivity improvements through process optimization, best-known method (BKM) deployment, data-driven execution, and AI-enabled transformation.

The candidate will serve as a technical leader in identifying opportunities, accelerating pilot adoption, and scaling innovative solutions across technologies and sites while leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and advanced analytics to improve engineering effectiveness and manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Excellence & SEAL

  • Lead development and deployment of global SEAL initiatives to standardize manufacturing BKMs and improve operational excellence.

  • Drive Wafer Per Day (WPD), utilization, manufacturing availability (MA), and productivity improvements through process and equipment optimization.

  • Partner with site and global stakeholders to identify performance gaps and execute improvement roadmaps.

  • Facilitate alignment across technology nodes and fabs to ensure successful adoption of proven solutions.

  • Conduct Power Walks, performance reviews, and opportunity assessments to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Track and communicate program progress, business impact, and key performance metrics to leadership.

AI & Digital Transformation

  • Identify, develop, and deploy AI-enabled engineering solutions to simplify engineering workflows and improve decision quality.

  • Leverage Generative AI, AI Agents, automation tools, and advanced analytics to increase engineering productivity and reduce manual effort.

  • Drive AI adoption across SEAL programs, enabling faster root cause analysis, opportunity identification, and decision-making.

  • Develop and scale AI-assisted workflows for manufacturing performance monitoring, productivity opportunity tracking, and BKM deployment.

  • Champion digital transformation initiatives and collaborate with IT, SMAI, and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into existing business processes.

  • Train and mentor teams on effective AI utilization and best practices.

Global Collaboration

  • Partner with global site champions to execute cross-site alignment initiatives.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in pilot program prioritization and deployment.

  • Support implementation and sustainment of global standards.

  • Work closely with leadership teams to identify strategic opportunities and accelerate execution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field.

  • 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience in Process or Equipment Engineering.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, equipment performance, process optimization, and productivity improvement methodologies.

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving organizational alignment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Generative AI, AI Agents, data analytics platforms) to improve work efficiency and decision making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related discipline.

  • Experience leading global standardization and productivity improvement initiatives.

  • Experience with SEAL deployment, Intelligent Solutions, and Digital Manufacturing programs.

  • Hands-on experience developing AI Agents, workflow automation solutions, or AI-powered engineering applications.

  • Experience in data analytics, dashboarding, machine learning, statistical process control, or predictive analytics.

  • Demonstrated success in driving measurable business impact through AI-enabled transformation.

  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive change across global organizations.
