Sales Manager (Contract Logistics)

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Manager to drive growth and expand our client base in the logistics and supply chain sector. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored logistics solutions that meet customer needs primarily in the distribution, warehousing and emerging markets spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in warehousing, transportation, and ancillary services within the supply chain sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customers' needs
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts
• Negotiate, pricing, terms, and service agreements with clients and to review them periodically
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the management
• Attend industry events, networking sessions, and trade shows to generate leads
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems
• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management during monthly meetings

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or related fields
• Proven experience (typically 3–7 years) in business development or sales within the logistics or freight industry
• Deep understanding of logistics services (air/sea freight, trucking, warehousing, customs clearance)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Self-motivated with a strong results-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
