Compliance Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Compliance & Oversight

• Ensure the Group’s operations are fully compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory guidelines.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, managing communications, audits, and reporting requirements.

2. Risk Assessment & Gap Analysis

• Identify operational gaps and compliance risks across business units.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

3. Audit & Monitoring

• Perform hands-on compliance audits of business operations and processes.
• Develop and implement monitoring frameworks to ensure ongoing compliance.

4. Policy & Documentation

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance and operational manuals.
• Ensure policies are clearly communicated and consistently applied across the Group.

5. Training & Awareness

• Design and deliver regular compliance training programs for employees.
• Promote a strong compliance culture across all levels of the organization.

6. Advisory & Support

• Provide practical compliance advice to business and operational teams.
• Support new initiatives by assessing regulatory implications and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit or risk management preferably within financial services or money lending industry.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing money lending or consumer finance.
• Proven experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and developing compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as provide guidance to the team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience liaising with regulatory authorities is highly preferred.
