About the Role
As a key member of our site team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and endorse all drawings from authorities and contractors.
- Provide necessary endorsements as required by relevant authorities.
- Supervise all site works, including civil, architectural, plumbing, sanitary, drainage, and sewer systems.
- Oversee full-time supervision for new building erection works
- Coordinate with contractors, QP(S), QP(D), agencies, interfacing contractors, and consultants.
- Maintain accurate and updated site records, including variation works, inspections, progress reports, and safety compliance.
- Prepare daily reports on contractor activities and site manpower status.
- Review and assess formwork structures and support systems; submit evaluation reports endorsed by a PE.
- Monitor safety, environmental, and health compliance on site.
- Supervise installation of instrumentation.
- Perform shift duties as assigned by the Resident Engineer and handle administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
- Familiar with extensive A&A works in operational buildings.
- Strong knowledge of Building Control Act and Regulations; able to maintain systematic site records and reporting.
- Experience in: Civil works, plumbing, sanitary, drainage, sewer systems
ERSS (deep excavation), demolition, and reinforced concrete piling works
Supervising architectural works - Registered with IES/BCA as a Resident Technical Officer.
