IT Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT hardware, software, networks, and related systems.
• Provide technical support and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor system performance and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal reliability and security.
• Assist in the implementation, deployment, and upgrading of IT infrastructure and technology solutions.
• Support server, network, cloud, and endpoint management activities where applicable.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset records, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to support project delivery and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity practices, and industry standards.
• Participate in system testing, user training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in IT infrastructure, technical support, systems administration, or network engineering is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi), and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, cybersecurity practices, backup solutions, or firewall technologies is an advantage.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
