Job Summary

The Supply Chain Executive drives procurement strategies, optimizes inventory management, and builds strong supplier relationships to enhance operational efficiency and support company growth in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgeted sales and margin targets at the category level to guide procurement planning
• Identify merchandise gaps within categories and source products to meet category requirements
• Execute procurement activities aligned with product specifications and customer needs
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate timely payment processes to suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality standards, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery
• Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy to support operational needs
• Manage clearance and disposition of ageing and discontinued stock to optimize inventory value
• Oversee slow-moving and excess inventory lines to reduce holding costs
• Analyze stock data continuously to identify and rectify overstock and understock situations promptly
• Review draft proposals and procurement specifications to ensure compliance with procurement requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement or inventory management
• Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to coordinate with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivation and accountability in managing team responsibilities
• Strong analytical skills to plan and maximize operational efficiency
