IP Paralegal (International Law Firm)

Our client is a UK law firm looking to hire a paralegal for their IP team. You will be working on trade mark matters, Madrid Protocol filings, WIPO International Registrations, and international trade mark portfolio management. You will also assist with investigations into potential trade mark infringements. This is a great opportunity to have international exposure as you will work on projects across multiple jurisdictions. This is a new headcount and you must be comfortable working independently as you will be the sole person based in the Singapore office, although you will have seniors and a team to work with in another office. You will be given autonomy and flexibility to manage your workload and schedule.

Requirements:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a law firm handling Singapore trade mark and Madrid Protocol matters
• You have had some exposure to multi-jurisdictional trade mark portfolio management
• Prior experience with registered designs and patent formalities is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in an autonomous environment
• Strong communication and drafting skills
