Admissions Counsellor

Nanyang Institute of Social Sciences (NISS) is an institute of higher education registered with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) under the Ministry of Education of Singapore, aiming to create a lifelong learning platform that incorporates quality higher education resources from the East and the West. We are now inviting applications for the position of Admissions Counsellor, responsible for managing the admissions process and supporting prospective students from inquiry to enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply admissions policies, provide professional program consultation, and achieve enrollment targets.
• Guide prospective students through the entire enrollment process, including application and interview, to ensure successful admission.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop enrollment channels and support program promotion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in sales, marketing, key account management, or the higher education sector.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to details and accuracy in tracking and managing admissions for academic programmes.
• Observant in identifying process, operational, and service gaps, and able to propose solutions
• Self-driven with a high level of autonomy, while also being a team player.
• Ability to set priorities and multi-task effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to engage and consult with prospective students.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken Chinese is required as the role involves regular communication and coordination with Chinese-speaking partner universities, faculty members, students, and external organizations, as well as the preparation of admissions-related materials in Chinese.
