Job Scope – Robotic Trainer

• Conduct robotics and coding classes for children, using hands-on and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Teach basic robotics concepts, programming and coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.
• Guide students to build, program and operate simple robots and robotics projects.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and classroom activities according to students’ age and skill level.
• Provide clear and engaging explanations to help children understand robotics and coding concepts.
• Monitor students’ learning progress and provide guidance and feedback when necessary.
• Encourage students to develop problem-solving, logical thinking, creativity and teamwork skills through robotics projects.
• Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
• Communicate with parents regarding students’ learning progress and class activities when required.
• Participate in centre activities, workshops, competitions and other enrichment programmes.
• Attend internal training and continuously improve teaching and technical skills.
• Perform other duties related to robotics education and centre operations as assigned.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Familiar with IT coding/programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
• Prior teaching, training, tutoring or coaching experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese to communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Passionate about robotics, coding and technology, with a genuine interest in teaching children.
• Patient, responsible and able to engage well with children of different ages and learning abilities.
• Able to explain technical concepts in a simple, fun and easy-to-understand manner.
• Creative, energetic and comfortable conducting hands-on activities and classroom projects.
• Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.

*5 days work week (must comfortable to commit weekend)
