Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications. This role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across frontend and backend platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in Java-based backend development, modern JavaScript frameworks, database technologies, and software engineering best practices. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and solution architecture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, React, Lit, JavaScript, and database technologies.
• Develop and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus.
• Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly frontend applications using React, Lit, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
• Design and optimize database schemas, data models, queries, and integration processes.
• Implement secure coding standards and support application security requirements.
• Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to architecture-related decisions.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and adherence to development standards.

Collaboration and Delivery

• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, designers, and technology teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute technical expertise during requirements analysis, solution design, and development activities.
• Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical guidance within the team.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD processes, deployment activities, and operational improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.

Performance and Continuous Improvement

• Monitor and optimize application performance across frontend and backend components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues.
• Support the implementation of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Contribute to application scalability, maintainability, and resilience initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement of development practices, tools, and engineering processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in software engineering and enterprise application development.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting full-stack applications throughout the software development lifecycle.

Backend Development

• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and related Java technologies.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Familiarity with Quarkus or similar Java frameworks.
• Experience using JPA/Hibernate or equivalent ORM technologies.
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, or similar build automation tools.

Frontend Development

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6+, and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience developing applications using React and component-based architectures.
• Familiarity with React Hooks, Context API, Redux, or similar state management frameworks.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and frontend tooling.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or equivalent tools.

Database Technologies

• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of database design, query optimization, normalization, and data modelling concepts.
• Experience supporting data migration, integration, or ETL activities is advantageous.

DevOps and Cloud Technologies

• Experience with source code management tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and software delivery pipelines.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within banking, financial services, capital markets, or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Understanding of application security principles and secure software development practices.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
