PRODUCTION MANAGER

Full job description

• Ensure manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently to meet production targets
• Maintain the highest quality standards throughout all production lines and output
• Optimize resource utilization including materials, equipment, and personnel to maximize productivity
• Keep production costs within budget while meeting delivery deadlines
• Create and maintain a safe working environment that complies with health and safety regulations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
• Establish efficient and productive manufacturing processes that meet or exceed customer expectations
• Foster a motivated and high-performing production team through effective leadership

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize production schedules to meet specifications and deadlines
• Oversee daily production processes and coordinate manufacturing operations
• Monitor production performance and make necessary adjustments to resolve issues promptly
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel, including quality inspectors and workers
• Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
• Determine the amount of necessary resources such as workforce and raw materials
• Collaborate with quality control, supply chain, engineering, and other departments for smooth operations
• Estimate costs and prepare budgets for production activities
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a Senior Engineer or Production Manager
