Job Summary

This role manages on-site building and contract administration for infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate progress claims, subcontractor procurement, and cost reporting from tender to final account. Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunities exist for experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site building and contract administration to ensure compliance and timely delivery of contract obligations
• Prepare and verify progress claims submitted to clients and received from subcontractors to maintain accurate financial records
• Initiate and coordinate calls for quotations, then review and evaluate submissions to support informed contract awards
• Guide and supervise quantity surveyors to resolve subcontracting issues and maintain workflow efficiency
• Liaise with the HQ Commercial department to provide monthly cost reports that reflect project financial status
• Update and submit detailed take-offs, estimations, and tabulations as requested by HQ for accurate budgeting and forecasting
• Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and Commercial teams to address contract matters, costing, invoicing, and billing
• Prepare and finalize outstanding progress claims and final claims to ensure complete and accurate contract closure

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the civil engineering industry
• Knowledge of contracts law and standard operating procedures essential for effective contract management
• Experience in contract drafting, procurement, and administration to support project execution
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to cost control and detail
