About this job

Join a dynamic and creative team that promotes Singapore's rich heritage and culture! We're looking for a hands-on communications professional to help drive public awareness of exhibitions, programmes, and cultural initiatives.

This is an execution-focused role — you'll be writing media materials, coordinating press events, managing public feedback, and creating social media content. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple institutions and with external agencies.

If you have a knack for storytelling, an interest in Singapore's heritage, and want to see your work featured in the news and on social media, this is a great opportunity to build your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute PR campaigns to raise awareness of exhibitions, programmes, and initiatives

  • Prepare media materials (press releases, media kits, talking points) and coordinate media events and interviews

  • Manage the holistic calendar of exhibitions and events, including GOH invitation logistics

  • Handle public feedback and queries across primary communication channels

  • Support integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Create social media content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, working alongside digital and marketing teams

  • Maintain relationships with media and content creators to sustain positive coverage

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (Diploma holders with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply)

  • Excellent written English — you must be able to adapt your tone for press releases, social media, and public replies

  • Genuine interest in Singapore's heritage, history, and culture

  • 1–2 years of PR or communications experience preferred, but fresh graduates with a strong portfolio (internships, freelance writing, content creation) will be considered

Good-to-Have:

  • Proficiency in a second language

  • Experience in government or public sector communications

  • Familiarity with integrated marketing communications

  • Background in arts, heritage, or cultural institutions

  • Active on TikTok and Instagram — you understand what content works on each platform
