Business Development Manager (Newbuilding)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the shipbuilding and newbuilding sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, shipyards, contractors, and key industry stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations for newbuilding projects.
• Engage with customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial enquiry to project award.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming newbuilding opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular business development updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the maritime industry.
• Exposure to newbuilding projects, shipyards, or marine equipment is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an advantage
