Hairdresser

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Hairdresser / Hair Stylist to provide professional haircare and styling services. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, good knowledge of hair treatments, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service while building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hair Services

• Perform haircuts, trimming, blow-drying, styling, and hair setting.
• Provide hair colouring, highlighting, bleaching, perming, rebonding, and other hair services.
• Conduct hair and scalp assessments and recommend suitable treatments.
• Perform hair treatments such as nourishing, repairing, and scalp care services.
• Ensure services are performed according to customer requirements and salon standards.

2. Customer Service

• Consult with customers to understand their preferred hairstyle and requirements.
• Recommend suitable hairstyles, treatments, and haircare products.
• Provide professional advice on hair maintenance and home care.
• Build strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits.
• Handle customer feedback professionally.

3. Salon Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare products and equipment before each service.
• Follow salon SOPs and safety procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an organized and professional salon environment.

4. Sales & Product Recommendation

• Promote hair treatments, packages, and salon services.
• Recommend and sell suitable professional haircare products.
• Support the salon in achieving monthly sales targets.

Requirements

• Certificate or professional training in Hairdressing / Hair Styling preferred.
• Previous experience in a hair salon or beauty industry is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling, and treatment techniques.
• Creative with good attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
