Planning Engineer (LTA Tunneling Works)

Job description of Planning Engineer for LTA Tunnel project :

· Develop and monitor project schedules in consultation with project team.

· Coordinate and obtain inputs from project team, contractors and suppliers to support the development of project programs

· Work on progress forecast and prepare rolling program

· Coordinate with client’s planner on programme and progress matters.

· Update, track and report project progress against planned schedule

· Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program

· Ensure material submission and approval

· Ensure project orders and deliveries are in accordance to agreed schedules

Requirements

·Degree in Civil Engineering with 5 years’ experience preferably in construction planning and programme coordination for LTA tunneling project

· Good knowledge of construction and general application of principles, theories and industry practices and standards

· Proficient in planning and scheduling techniques to develop, track and monitor the programme

. Ability to influence various stakeholders and build long-term relationships with them

· Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 is a must

. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

. Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

. Ability to analyse and synthesize complex issues quickly
