Location: Singapore (Hybrid)
Role Summary
The EPR Compliance Executive – Asia Pacific will be responsible for supporting clients in meeting their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and environmental compliance obligations across the Asia Pacific region. The role involves managing day-to-day client interactions, coordinating compliance activities, preparing regulatory submissions, and ensuring clients remain compliant with country-specific environmental regulations. This is a client-facing execution role suitable for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, or regulatory affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and provide day-to-day compliance support.
- Understand clients' product portfolios and business operations to determine applicable EPR obligations across APAC countries.
- Coordinate with clients to collect, validate, and review data required for regulatory reporting and compliance submissions.
- Prepare and submit EPR registrations, declarations, statutory reports, and other regulatory filings within prescribed timelines.
- Monitor compliance deadlines and proactively follow up with clients to ensure timely submission of required information.
- Communicate regulatory updates, compliance requirements, and key deadlines to clients in a clear and timely manner.
- Coordinate with government authorities, Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs), recyclers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution of compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, client documentation, and reporting trackers.
- Support clients during regulatory audits and respond to routine compliance-related queries.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, compliance summaries, and regulatory guidance documents.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering responsive, high-quality compliance support.
- Collaborate with internal operations, consulting, and business development teams to deliver seamless client service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in EPR compliance, environmental compliance, sustainability, regulatory affairs, account management, or client servicing.
- Basic understanding of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), environmental regulations, waste management, or product stewardship.
- Knowledge of Singapore's Resource Sustainability Act and APAC EPR regulations is an advantage.
- Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting multinational or regional clients.
- Exposure to compliance reporting, sustainability consulting, or environmental services.
- Familiarity with APAC markets, including ASEAN, Australia, Japan, or South Korea, is desirable.
- Experience working with compliance databases, CRM systems, or regulatory management platforms.
