Tax Associate (GST)

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with the review and e-file of GST returns, simplified GST returns and Statement of Claims.

• Assist clients with GST health checks such as Assisted Self-Help Kit (ASK) and Assisted Compliance Assurance Program (ACAP).

• Assist clients with the application for GST registration, exemption from GST registration, GST remission and schemes.

• Assist clients in managing tax queries and audits.

• Provide advisory services to clients on complex GST transactions.

• Provide support to engagement manager and work closely with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

• Contribute to efforts and take an active role in leveraging technology to digitalize and automate GST processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.

• Ability to mentor and guide juniors or associates, delegating tasks and overseeing their work in a team as a Senior.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification recognised by ISCA.

• Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in the area of GST for Senior Associate position.

• Knowledge of Singapore income tax laws.

• Portrays Good analytical skills and attention to details, responsible and able to work under tight deadlines.

• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
