Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive the delivery of a regional cybersecurity program across Asia Pacific. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams to implement a portfolio of cybersecurity projects, managing project lifecycles, and engaging senior stakeholders across the region. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in IT security program management within a large multinational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the regional cybersecurity program across a portfolio of projects, overseeing all phases from framing and validation through execution and transition to operations
  • Coordinate with global PMO to relay updates, risks, and priorities throughout each project phase
  • Coordinate dedicated project resources and contributors (including local/regional IT and Security teams) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Contribute to global steering activities and consolidate regional updates and risks from stakeholders
  • Prepare and present strategic updates to senior management and governance committees
  • Manage resource and financial planning for projects, including hiring and onboarding of project resources
  • Partner with regional leads to identify KPI gaps, propose enhancements, and track improvement initiatives
  • Support broader department activities and initiatives (e.g., budget management, tools roll-outs)

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; Master's degree a plus
  • 8+ years of experience delivering security-focused projects within a multinational organisation (banking, consulting, or technology); banking sector experience preferred
  • Proven track record managing programs with multiple cross-regional stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of cybersecurity activities and practices
  • PMP certification (or equivalent) required; CISSP, CISM, or CISA an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with AI/machine-learning applications in cybersecurity (reporting, analysis) an advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and financial planning skills
