Security Manager

Job Description

• Lead and manage security executives, technicians, and outsourced security service providers to ensure smooth daily security operations.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of security and car park systems.
• Monitor and analyse security incidents and breaches, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
• Develop, implement, and review security strategies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and security service providers to support daily operations, events, and ad-hoc security requirements.
• Develop and implement security awareness programmes and internal communication initiatives.
• Review and update security policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), deployment plans, and security processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Manage and improve the Security Management System (SMS).
• Attend regular operational and progress meetings, and prepare meeting minutes, reports, and security performance statistics.
• Ensure all security-related documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline with at least 7 years of relevant experience supervising security operations; or
• Diploma in any discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience supervising security operations.
• Strong knowledge of physical security planning and security operations.
• Technical knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and their integration.
• Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
