Project Engineer

Company Overview

Hanwha Offshore Singapore is a global contractor specializing in engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning of offshore topside modules for FPSOs, FSOs, FLNGs, and FSRUs, with expertise in onshore module fabrication and piping solutions for hydrocarbons and green energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication and collaboration between disciplines and departments to ensure efficient execution of project tasks
• Verify project compliance with required specifications and industry standards to maintain quality and safety
• Analyze project specifications, scope of work, and scope of supply to inform planning and execution
• Confirm timely arrival and accuracy of resources according to orders and requests to support uninterrupted construction
• Allocate resources effectively for production and project teams to meet construction schedules
• Monitor and update project budgets to track financial performance and control costs
• Support and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols to ensure regulatory compliance
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on outyard activities to update management on project progress
• Participate in Client and Production meetings alongside Project Managers to align project objectives and resolve issues
• Identify and track potential project variations and coordinate follow-up actions with Commercial teams
• Monitor progress of individual disciplines to ensure milestones are met and address delays proactively
• Develop and submit Project Execution Plans for tender submissions to support project acquisition efforts

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• On-job training will be provided with no experience candidate.
