Senior EHS Engineer (Listed US Manufacturing MNC)

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the company’s EHS management systems, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor control processes for hazardous materials to ensure safe handling, storage, and compliance.
• Manage EHS-related permits, applications, renewals, and regulatory submissions in line with local requirements.
• Recommend annual EHS objectives, improvement plans, and cost-saving initiatives to plant management.
• Track and report EHS performance, highlighting key metrics, risks, and improvement actions to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate EHS programs covering workplace safety, environmental management, occupational health, industrial hygiene, and ergonomics.
• Ensure compliance with internal EHS policies, workplace safety regulations, and applicable government requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams and external parties to resolve EHS matters and support continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• More than 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of local EHS regulations and continuous improvement practices.
• Must be a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM and a certified Fire Safety Manager.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with good Microsoft Office proficiency and the ability to work independently.
