Social Worker (Crisis Shelter)

We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and competent Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in casework management and working collaboratively with key stakeholders and colleagues to deliver trauma-informed practices to enhance the safety and well-being of our vulnerable women and children who have experienced family violence and trauma.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Possess at least a recognized Degree in Social Work
• Perform case management and counselling for our residents
• Able to plan and implement intervention programmes for our residents
• Conduct assessments for admission and discharge
• Prepare and adhere to the timely submission of required reports
• Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• 4 days work-week, and include 1 weekend
• Willing to work in a residential setting
• An individual with at least 2 years of social work-related experience
