Process Engineer

Job Summary

Lead and coordinate facilities and engineering projects to ensure timely, budget-compliant completion. Maintain and troubleshoot plant equipment to maximize operational reliability and efficiency while supporting energy compliance and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute facilities and engineering projects to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets
• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot plant facilities and equipment to reduce downtime and ensure operational reliability
• Identify maintenance issues and implement solutions to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and efficient maintenance, repairs, and project execution
• Supervise and support supervisors and technicians through technical guidance, training, and performance management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve facility and equipment issues for smooth plant operations
• Monitor and maintain equipment downtime records to facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for plant facilities and machinery
• Collect and analyze utility energy consumption data to ensure compliance with Energy Conservation Act (ECA) reporting
• Support Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessment (EEOA) initiatives in alignment with regulatory standards
• Apply basic knowledge of PLC systems to support maintenance activities (considered an advantage)
• Perform additional duties assigned by Management, including safety, Emergency Response Team (ERT), and operational tasks

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in a technical field such as Mechatronics Engineering
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
