M&E Engineer

Job Description & Requirements

• Coordinate M&E works with architectural, structural and civil trades.
• Manage and control M&E subcontractors, vendors and specialists.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, method statements and specifications.
• Monitor daily site progress, quality and safety.
• Identify and resolve site coordination and technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections, testing and inspections with consultants and authorities.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore codes and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee testing, commissioning and authority approvals.
• Prepare site records, inspection checklists and progress reports.
• Manage rectification works, defects and final handover.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services recognized by the PE Board.
• Minimum 3-5 years M&E experience, specifically for LTA, MRT, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation), cooling systems, and electrical distribution.
• Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to coordinate CSD, SEM (Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical), and BIM (Revit/Navisworks) models will be an advantage.
