Commodity Sourcing Specialist (East/MNC)

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for assigned commodities, focusing on supplier selection, cost competitiveness, lead time optimization, and capacity planning to support business objectives.

• Conduct detailed cost analysis, price benchmarking, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluations to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive procurement efficiency.

• Monitor supplier performance against key metrics including quality, on-time delivery, responsiveness, and manufacturing capacity, while proactively managing supply chain risks.

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and operational requirements while building strong vendor relationships.

• Collaborate closely with buyers and cross-functional stakeholders to execute sourcing strategies, maintain accurate sourcing master data, and resolve supplier-related issues impacting procurement operations.

Requirement:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related technical field, with 1–2 years of sourcing or category management experience, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing

• Proficient in advanced data tools (Excel Power Query/Pivot, Power BI, Tableau) with ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights, plus aptitude to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
