We are seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to support the Wealth Management Technology (WMT) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects within the Wealth Management domain.

The role will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while aligning with business objectives and supporting the bank's strategic technology goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Alignment

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, Business Analysts, and Technology Leads to define project scope, timelines, priorities, dependencies, and budgets.
  • Lead weekly capacity and prioritisation discussions with business stakeholders.
  • Ensure project objectives and delivery plans are aligned with business and technology priorities.

Delivery Oversight & Risk Management

  • Track project progress and ensure adherence to agreed timelines, scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Manage scope and timelines by constructively challenging requirements where necessary, with support from key stakeholders.
  • Plan and manage releases, including dependencies across systems, applications, and delivery teams.
  • Ensure delivery plans across assigned squads are aligned with overall initiative and release timelines.

Medium- to Long-Term Work Funnel Management

  • Engage with regional Wealth Management platforms and stakeholders to understand upcoming initiatives and technology requirements.
  • Manage initial project sizing, including T-shirt sizing and High-Level Estimates (HLEs).
  • Support planning and prioritisation of the technology delivery pipeline.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Plan, monitor, and track project budgets for initiatives under the assigned portfolio.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate allocation and utilisation of project resources.

Production Incident Management

  • Partner with SRE and Platform teams to coordinate the timely resolution of critical production issues and incidents relating to initiatives and modules owned by assigned squads.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with relevant business and technology stakeholders during critical incidents.
  • Coordinate SRE familiarisation and knowledge transfer for newly launched features.

Continuous Improvement & Performance

  • Drive continuous improvement across assigned squads and delivery processes.
  • Promote best practices in project delivery, quality, governance, and team performance.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce operational effort, eliminate unnecessary manual work, and improve delivery efficiency.
  • Support teams in achieving sustainable and high-quality delivery outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in technology project management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering technology projects, preferably within the financial services or banking industry.
  • Experience in Wealth Management, Client Channels, or related banking technology domains is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technology and business teams in an Agile or similar delivery environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in project management and delivery tools such as JIRA.
  • Good understanding of technology delivery, release management, system dependencies, and production support processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline
