Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Understand business and technical requirements to develop appropriate network solutions and act as the primary point of contact for network project implementation and execution.
- Plan, prioritise, and deliver multiple network build and transformation projects within agreed timelines and scope.
- Design, configure, and deploy enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.
- Implement and troubleshoot networking technologies, including DNS, HTTP, SSL, 802.1X, DMVPN, TACACS+, RADIUS, VPN solutions, WAN optimisation, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco networking platforms (Nexus, Catalyst, Routers, Wireless LAN Controller, ISE) and F5 Load Balancers.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions and project activities.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to operations teams to ensure smooth project handover and support continuity.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to support network migration activities, including after-office hours where required.
- Monitor network performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement enhancements to improve scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to provide project updates and technical guidance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering and enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of the OSI model and core networking principles.
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN.
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including DNS, HTTP, SSL, 802.1X, DMVPN, TACACS+, RADIUS, WAN Optimisation, SSL VPN, and network security solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking products, including Nexus, Catalyst, Routers, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and Cisco ISE.
- Experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting F5 Load Balancers.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification will be an advantage.
- Aruba Certified SD-WAN Deployment Professional or Aruba Certified SD-WAN Deployment Expert will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
