Senior Commercial Diver

Only Singaporeans, PR and Malaysian applications will be considered

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform inshore underwater operations including inspections, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, maintenance and repairs of vessels within Singapore waters
• Operate and maintain diving equipment, including diving hats, equipment and tools
• Conduct pre-dive checks and ensure proper functioning of diving equipment in accordance with SS511:2018 standards
• Complete tasks efficiently while adhering to project schedules and deadlines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain effective communication with the team
• Maintain accurate records of dive logs, equipment inspections and maintenance activities
• Monitor and assess underwater conditions, identify potential hazards prior to dive operation commencement
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures in compliance with SS 511 to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Job Requirements:

• Possesses valid and approved diving certification recognized by IMCA and SS 511 standards
• Possesses in-date and approved diving medical certification issued by a registered Diving medical practitioner
• Possesses in-date occupational first aid and diving first aid certification
• Proficient in use of hydraulic brush kart and polishing system
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Be able to call a stop-work order in the event of unsafe working conditions
• Have a good sense of punctuality and responsibility
