Company Overview:

An established Singapore-based FMCG marketing and distribution company, specializing in premium food, beverages, confectionery, health and beauty products. The company works with international brands and distributes products across major retail channels in Singapore.

Role Purpose:

The Brand Manager owns the day-to-day management of the assigned brands, driving sales, profit and brand growth through sharp commercial planning, creative marketing ideas and close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers and retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business and Sales Delivery

   • Develop and execute business and marketing plans that meet sales and profit targets

   • Translate brand strategy into commercial actions that strengthen market position

   • Monitor performance and act to close gaps and capture opportunities

2. Trade and Promotional Planning

   • Plan and run trade promotions that grow sales and market share

   • Keep activities commercially sound and aligned with retailer requirements

   • Track results and optimise future programmes

3. Supplier and Brand Owner Management

   • Build strong working relationships with brand owners and suppliers

   • Align forecasts, inventory, marketing plans and business priorities

   • Run regular business reviews to keep shared goals on track

4. Retailer and Commercial Terms Management

   • Secure improved income, trading terms and discounts from retailers and suppliers

   • Negotiate agreements that support category growth and profitability

5. Inventory and Forecast Management

   • Own inventory planning to ensure stable supply and reduce shrinkage

   • Work with supply chain teams to maintain healthy stock levels and minimise write-offs

6. Reporting and Analysis

   • Prepare business reports, sales analysis and monthly performance updates

   • Provide insights that guide decisions and flag risks and opportunities

7. Instore Execution

   • Partner with key account and field sales teams to deliver at store level

   • Ensure displays, promotions and merchandising follow brand guidelines and land on time

8. Brand Building and Activation

   • Manage the assigned brands end to end, from positioning and pricing to portfolio and campaign planning

   • Generate creative campaign and activation ideas that build brand awareness, trial and repeat purchase

   • Coordinate agencies, promoter teams and POSM suppliers to deliver brand activities

   • Ensure creative and instore materials reflect brand identity and deliver measurable impact

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline

• Minimum 3 years in FMCG or retail, preferably in sales, key account, product or retail management
