Job Summary

You will deliver account servicing and project management relating to the commerciality of a store layout which includes full architectural drawing packages to vertical circulation between floors, customer service in store and facade design.

Responsibilities

• Manage account servicing to ensure project deliverables align with contract requirements
• Coordinate smooth site take-over and handover processes to maintain project continuity
• Develop and implement project plans that allocate resources efficiently to meet objectives
• Lead project execution ensuring timelines, workmanship, safety, and technical standards comply with requirements
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues to minimize impact on delivery
• Submit required documentation to landlords, building management, and authorities promptly
• Prepare and monitor project budgets and billing to control costs and maintain targeted margins
• Ensure all works comply with quality standards and government regulations
• Evaluate contractor performance and verify claims for variations and payments accurately
• Control project expenditures to stay within budget and achieve financial targets
• Facilitate meetings and liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Inspect off-site fabrication and on-site installation to verify compliance with specifications
• Confirm all defects are rectified before pre-site inspections to uphold quality standards
• Perform ad hoc duties as required to support project success

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Building Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in retail and corporate office interiors
• Experience managing projects across multiple disciplines including contract and procurement management
• Knowledge of the furniture industry is advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, architectural/technical blueprints, and shop drawings
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet research
• Strong leadership skills demonstrated by managing and leading project teams to successful outcomes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in project execution
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Capacity to perform under pressure and meet project timelines
