Construction Safety Officer

1. Site Safety Management

• Ensure all construction activities comply with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, MOM regulations, and company safety policies.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe practices or conditions.
• Stop work immediately if serious safety violations or life-threatening conditions are observed.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting operations, confined space entry, hot works, and work-at-height.

2. Safety Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain Safety Reports, Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) records.
• Keep updated records of accident reports, near-miss incidents, and safety statistics.
• Assist in preparation for audits and inspections by authorities or clients.
• Maintain safety-related documentation such as MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for hazardous materials.
