Event Executive (Exhibitor Acquisition)

Primary Functions:

To assist the department in account management, sales prospecting and business development of our exhibitions/conferences to customers; generate sponsorship revenue; and oversee the collective coordination of all event information and resources.

Main Responsibilities:

1. To execute sales and marketing strategies in acquiring potential leads.

2. To identify new markets and business opportunities through various means including cold calling to increase event sales.

3. To actively source and prospect clients for exhibitions.

4. To prepare exciting and creative proposals to attract new sponsors and other clients at all levels.

5. To provide customers with quotations and follow up promptly.

6. To maintain and develop excellent customer relationships with clients and continuously focus on improving customer satisfaction to create customer loyalty and deliver a positive event experience.

7. To provide accurate and timely information to relevant internal and external parties.

8. To assist in conducting market research, market monitoring and business development activities to enhance efficiency and performance of the sales department.

9. To gather market and customer information to stay relevant in the market

10. To represent the Company at trade exhibitions and events for the purpose of collecting qualified leads and pertinent sales information as well as keeping up with market trends

11. To plan, design and implement other revenue-generating ideas, e.g. show directories/issues/diaries/dailies, merchandising, business centre, polaroids, awards, competitions, postcards, hospitality suites, plastic/paper bags, daily bulletins/messages boards, electronic media, press conferences, printing etc.

12. To source for mailing lists and oversee databases of potential sellers and hosted/trade buyers.

13. To submit and update sales/project reports.

14. To assist in any other duties assigned from time to time.
