PLANNER

Job Description:

• Plan and monitor material requirements based on production schedules and customer demand.
• Review forecasts and generate purchase requisitions (PRs) to ensure sufficient material supply.
• Track supplier deliveries and expedite orders to prevent production shortages.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to avoid excess or obsolete inventory.
• Analyze material shortages and develop recovery plans with suppliers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and logistics to ensure smooth material flow.
• Update and maintain material planning data, including lead times, safety stock, and planning parameters in the ERP system.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring material readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and supply chain performance.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

This role is critical in ensuring uninterrupted production, meeting customer delivery commitments, and maintaining efficient inventory levels.
