The Role

You own the daily front-of-house canteen operation — leading your team, liaising with the school, and ensuring every service runs smoothly, safely, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary contact for school administration, teachers, and parent committees
• Support school events and peak periods as required
• Supervise, schedule, and train front-line canteen staff; handle basic team HR
• Ensure SFA/NEA compliance and maintain an 'A' grade cleanliness rating
• Manage allergen labelling and dietary requirements per school policy
• Primary contact for school administration, teachers, and parent committees
• Oversee stock, receiving, storage, and FIFO rotation
• Manage pre-orders and special dietary requests
• Maintain daily reports, temperature logs, and assist with POS reconciliation

Requirements

• Experience in catering, F&B, or institutional food service management

• Strong SFA/NEA, food safety, and hygiene knowledge

• Proven team leadership

• Excellent English — written and spoken; comfortable liaising with international school communities

• Practical problem-solver, calm under pressure

• Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and POS systems

• Willing to work occasional weekends for events
