Catering Executive

Job Summary

You will prepare, plan, and pack catering equipment and inventory for events, assemble food items per delivery orders, ensure timely and orderly delivery and setup, liaise with customers on-site, manage event setup and teardown, control inventory, and maintain hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, plan, and pack catering equipment and inventory for various catering events to ensure readiness and accuracy
• Assemble food items according to delivery orders to meet customer specifications
• Deliver food and set up events on time according to the delivery schedule
• Liaise with customers on-site to accommodate setup preferences and ensure satisfaction
• Manage event setup, venue decoration, teardown, and collection to maintain smooth event flow
• Control inventory and maintain proper care of catering equipment to ensure availability and functionality
• Comply with mandatory hygiene and safety standards to maintain food safety and workplace safety
• Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of the vehicle to ensure safe and reliable transportation
• Collect payments from customers accurately and securely
• Adapt to additional duties assigned by the supervisor to support team and operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess Singapore Class 3 or 4 driving license with good driving skills and clean records (essential for safe and legal driving duties)
• Ability to work staggered hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays (required to meet event schedules)
• Physical fitness to carry heavy event equipment safely (necessary due to physical demands of the job)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in buffet event setup (advantageous for efficient event preparation)
• Familiarity with Singapore roads (preferred to support timely deliveries)
