Lecturer for Operations Management

Responsibilities:
● Take on the role(s) as the Associate Lecturer and Module Leader as assigned.
● Design and develop high quality curriculum and course materials within the existing academic framework by partner universities.
● Prepare, deliver and conduct lessons according to the course syllabus and schemes of work
● Review and ensure all coursework and exam assessments (e.g. final outcomes) align with the intended learning outcomes of each module according to the course and module specification.
● Prepare examination papers and assignments. Mark and grade all course work, assignments and examination papers
● Facilitate the internal moderation of all coursework and examination results in alignment with the course and module specification, before presentation to the end of term/course for review with the Academic and Examinations Board and university partner / external examiners board (if applicable)
● Engage in student development by providing strong learning support and monitoring of students’ academic performances. Provide necessary supervision to the students, manage and report students’ discipline issues to the academic staff in charge.
● Advise and counsel students with respect to academic performance, behavioural and disciplinary issues, career opportunities, and pursuit of advanced studies. Monitor the performance and progress of each student, including academic counselling.
Miscellaneous duties:
Other administrative duties/projects as assigned by Reporting Officer.
Participate in the school’s events, marketing campaigns and projects as required.
Requirements:
Preferably a Master Degree in related fields or an equivalent Degree in related fields with 5 years of relevant teaching experience and professional work experience.
Familiar with the fundamental theories and practices of operations management, including production operations, service operations, process management, quality management, supply chain management, and operational decision-making.
Possess teaching experience in Singapore private education institutions, with a flexible and engaging teaching style.
Have substantial experience in classroom management.
Possess strong bilingual teaching abilities.
Possess good academic documents writing skills.
