About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable educators to support Primary school students during their after-school hours. The role combines academic guidance, student supervision and the organisation of meaningful activities in a safe and encouraging environment.
What You Will Do
• Support Primary 1 to Primary 6 students with homework, revision and daily schoolwork
• Facilitate educational, recreational and enrichment activities for students
• Supervise students throughout the day and maintain a safe and orderly environment
• Encourage good study habits, appropriate behaviour and positive social interaction
• Observe students' learning progress and provide appropriate guidance where needed
• Communicate appropriately with parents on matters relating to their child's learning or conduct
• Assist with student arrival and dismissal arrangements, including collection from nearby schools when necessary
• Help with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
• Carry out routine centre administration and maintain an organised learning environment
• Work together with other educators to plan and deliver centre programmes
Who We Are Looking For
• Enjoys interacting with Primary school children and supporting their development
• Patient, responsible and able to manage groups of students confidently
• Comfortable assisting with Primary school academic subjects
• Able to communicate clearly with students, parents and colleagues
• Previous experience in student care, tuition, teaching, enrichment or other child-related roles would be advantageous
• Relevant education or teaching qualifications are an advantage but not essential
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
