Senior/Automation Engineer | Pharma MNC | New Plant Start-Up

Jobscope:

• Review and manage technical requirements for DCS, PLC, SIS, BMS, EMS, GDS and automation systems.
• Coordinate with automation vendors, contractors and internal engineering teams on design and project execution.
• Review engineering drawings, system designs and technical documents.
• Lead and support FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning and system integration activities.
• Troubleshoot automation system issues during installation, commissioning and start-up.
• Coordinate IT/OT integration and OT/DMZ network requirements.
• Support GMP, CSV, C&Q, PHA and validation activities.
• Review and maintain SOPs, TWIs and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process and Validation teams.
• Support project handover and final documentation close-out.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Automation, Control Engineering, Instrumentation or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial automation/control systems.
• Strong experience with DCS/PLC and automation system projects.
• Experience in batch and/or continuous process control preferred.
• Experience with Emerson/Yokogawa DCS and/or Honeywell/Siemens PLC preferred.
• Hands-on experience in FAT, SAT, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with GMP, CSV, C&Q and validation in regulated industries is preferred.
• Good understanding of IT/OT integration and industrial networks.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Systems Engineer certification is an advantage.
