Business Development Executive

Primary Responsibility :

• Overseas entity account management and in managing ongoing requirements;
• Business development for overseas market and meet growth targets of account assigned;
• Identify and Understand Market Trends;
• Order entry and documentation maintenance;
• Work with cross functions to ensure order fulfilment.

Administration & Operation:

• Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, delivery orders, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and enquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
• Monitor order status and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Process purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers on pricing, stock availability, and delivery schedules.
• Source new suppliers and compare quotations to achieve the best value.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support across various departments.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth business operations.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and business documents.
• Maintain proper filing and document management systems.
• Handle general office administration and support ad hoc projects assigned by management.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and administrative efficiency.
• Recommend practical solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
• Leverage technology and AI tools where appropriate to automate repetitive tasks and improve accuracy.

Job Requirements :

• Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing with at least 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the supply chain industry;
• Possess negotiation and communication skills;
• Require good time management skills and ability to prioritise in a fast pace environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to prioritise multiple tasks and work independently under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
