Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

• Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.
• Test, calibrate, fine-tune, and troubleshoot complex analytical instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Meet the daily/Monthly output with acceptable quality.
• Collaborate on developing methods and procedures to enhance manufacturing processes, improving cycle-time, yield, and unit cost.
• Crosstrain in other manufacturing tasks to provide support as needed.
• Strive for continuous improvement to ensure products meet customer expectations for performance, quality, and reliability.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Conduct routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) of equipment.

Qualifications

• Higher education or Specialized training/certification. Nitec or Higher Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Biomedical/Biotech/Chemistry or a related field is acceptable for entry-level roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic understanding of chemical principles and safety protocols.
• Basic to advanced troubleshooting skills.
