Job Summary

Help people move better, recover stronger, and perform at their best by designing and supervising personalised nutrition, exercise and rehabilitation programmes in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and supervise personalised nutrition, exercise and rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs
• Guide patients through strength, mobility, balance, flexibility, and conditioning exercises to enhance recovery and performance
• Collaborate with physiotherapists to support rehabilitation programmes for chronic diseases, musculoskeletal, and sports injuries
• Motivate patients to safely achieve their rehabilitation and fitness goals through effective coaching and encouragement
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates clearly with the clinical team to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients on injury prevention, proper exercise techniques, and healthy lifestyle habits to promote long-term wellness
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised rehabilitation gym and treatment area to support effective therapy sessions
• Assist with conducting fitness assessments and movement screenings to inform personalised exercise plans
• Support clinic events, wellness programmes, and community outreach activities to promote health and fitness awareness

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Nutrition, Sports Science, Exercise Science, Sports & Exercise Medicine, Kinesiology, Strength & Conditioning, Fitness, or related discipline
• Experience as a Sports Trainer, Personal Trainer, Rehabilitation Trainer, Exercise Physiologist, or Fitness Coach is an advantage
• CPR/AED certification is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Positive, energetic, and motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Full-time position
• Evening shifts required
• Saturdays required
