Engineer (EV Vehicle, High voltage System)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnosis, maintenance, servicing, and repairs on electric vehicles (EVs) in accordance with manufacturer standards.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot high-voltage (HV) systems, battery packs, electric motors, inverters, charging systems, and other EV components.

• Carry out high-voltage isolation procedures and ensure all work complies with EV safety regulations.

• Provide technical support and guidance to workshop technicians on EV-related repairs and safety procedures.

• Assist in establishing and maintaining EV workshop capabilities, including equipment requirements and process improvements.

• Support customers by explaining repair findings and recommended maintenance when required.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Workshop Manager or Management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in EV Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronic Engineering.

• Hands-on experience with high-voltage (HV) systems, batteries, inverters, electric motors, and charging systems.

• Experience in EV safety procedures, HV isolation, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems.

• Familiarity with hybrid and battery electric vehicles.
